I was hit hard in the middle of the night with a bout of 24 hour flu virus. It took me out all day and all I have been able to do is to sleep and watch TV. Yet, in all of that, I have been able to rest and see my housemates take care of me, which is really appreciated.
I have also had some students stop by because they wanted to check up on me or send me an e-mail to make sure I was okay. So despite how hard this flu bug hit me, I have seen some goodness come out of it. I realize how much I love my job and the ways that my students are changing me and the ways that I am changing them.
So I am going to sleep in contentment, because this day has been another reminder of just how God good is to me and those around me.
