It's that time of year, where midterms are happening, assignments are due, and students are just counting down the days to the end of school and when exams are done.
Every year, it's the same. And every year, I notice students caught in the feeling of barely getting by and not sure how they'll make it through the rest of the semester.
Here I am, not in school but working with students. Some days I am not mindful how stressful school can be, but today, I am very aware. So, if there is anything I can do for my students, it's that I am praying for them, that they will not feel defeated and overwhelmed, but that they will God's presence with them.
I know they will get through this stretch. I just want them to come out alive and thriving, not barely surviving. And my prayer is that in this time, they will stay just as committed to Jesus as when school is going well, ministry is thriving, and life is good.
In the end, when all of this is done, I hope that my students can look back and see how God was with them and how their relationship with Him strengthened in this time of hardship.
