This season of ministry has been exhausting, but also extremely rewarding. It feels like I am constantly working, whether meeting with students, preparing for Bible studies, visioning for next year, lending a listening ear, or just telling others about what I do.
It never gets boring. Never. Every day brings a new challenge. Every day brings something new and exciting to learn and experience.
Some of you might have heard me say this, that I often forget that I am working because I love what I do. My job does not feel like work. It feels like I get paid (or fundraise to get paid) to do what I love. And it's true. I love my job.
My housemate just came back from a vacation in Brazil and brought me back a gift. It was a magnet that said, "Find a job that you love and you'll never work a day in your life".
That statement describes my life perfectly. I am so thankful that God allows me to do what I love.
