In less than 12 hours, I will be on a plane headed to San Francisco for Inter-Varsity's Asian American Staff Conference. I am not American, but my friends south of the border have graciously invited 11 Asian Canadian staff or individuals who work with Asian students to the conference.
I am excited because it's my first time to California and I am spending time with some really great people. It's also great because I am turning it into a 10 day vacation with my grandparents, where we'll visit our relatives.
So I'll be absent over the next 15 days, but I will return with some updates of what I learned at the conference and also about the training that I just received this past weekend with new staff in Ontario and Quebec.
