Sensing God through free lawn chairs...

God has definitely provided for me since I have been born, but there have been some times where I sense it more than others. And lately, due to moving houses, I have been able to clearly see how God has provided for me.

First, my house is amazing. I was thinking in bed today how at my old house, the living room, the TV, and the dining room were all in the same room. In my new house, there are three spots for these three things: TV watching, living room, and dining room.

Second, all the furniture I have for the house has been provided to me by one of my staff partners, one of my friends who is doing an internship with Inter-Varsity at Montreal, and one of my closest friends who moved to do grad school in the Middle East. It's just so crazy to think that I haven't needed to spend much money to furnish this house.

Third, my housemate and I were cleaning the mini-deck we have in our house yesterday. As we were cleaning, we thinking how great it would be to have lawn chairs. Well, today, we went on an afternoon walk and we walked past a house that had 4 lawn chairs with a sign saying, "Help yourself". So we did. And it was perfect! We already had 1 chair at home and there are 5 of us living in the house.

All it needs now is a nice wash, and we're all set. Oh, how God is good.

I didn't know you had a blog, but I'm glad I stumbled upon it tonight! I look forward to reading more in the future.

Also, isn't God's provision insanely awesome!?
