Three oceans, five months...

It has been an incredible few months of travelling. I have been in Mexico, California, Bangladesh and Dubai, and I just came back from Newfoundland for a vacation with my housemate. I have felt extremely blessed to see so many parts of the world that are all very different from one another.

It hit me as I saw the Atlantic Ocean from the top of Signal Hill in St. John's a few days ago: I've been to 3 different oceans over the past 5 months. In California, I was at the Pacific Ocean. In Bangladesh, I was at the Indian Ocean. In Newfoundland, I was at the Atlantic Ocean, and was even able to sea kayak with whales!

It was a surreal experience and all courtesy of my housemate, who is in love with whales, kayaking, and the ocean. I would never have picked to do that myself, but it was an experience that I will never forget. The kayak made me feel like I was a part of the ocean and seeing the humpback whales swimming near us left me speechless.

Being in the water makes me appreciate the creation of God more. I feel so small compared to the vast body of water and I am in awe of how God creatively crafted everything on earth. There is purpose in everything, but He also allows us to have fun in His creation (like kayaking with whales in the ocean!), which leads us to adore Him even more.
